Club Membership Rules & Regulations

Why do I need to become a member?

We are compelled by the terms of our license to operate as a members club, however members clubs tend to generate images of aloof, cliquey, unfriendly  places, but this couldn't be further from the truth.  We are a modern, open and friendly club and very much welcome and enjoy a constant influx of new members.  Membership allows our members to enjoy the excellent value and facilities we offer and in a consistent way: in a safe environment, with like minded people, free from hassle and intimidation.

How do I become a member?

Firstly visit the Club a few times to see if you like what we offer. Tell the bar steward you found our website and have popped in for a drink. If you wish to join ask for an application form from the bar, complete the form and submit with the standard £15 membership fee. The membership form  will need to be completed in full and  your membership proposed by two current members, with their membership numbers.  Please ask at the bar for assistance if required. The form will be reviewed at the next available committee meeting where upon the committee will discuss whether the candidate is deemed suitable.
If successful, then the fee will be banked and a membership card will be issued by the secretary usually within a fortnight. If unsuccessful, then fees will be returned in cheque form by post with a covering letter.
